About Little Lemon Cafe
A Little Taste of the Sweet Life
Welcome to the Sweet Lemon family, where exceptional food, warm hospitality, and community connection have been Georgetown’s favorites for over eight years. Our story began with Sweet Lemon Kitchen on Church Street, and has grown to include Little Lemon Cafe, nestled in the heart of Georgetown’s beloved library.
Our Story
It all started with Rachel Cummins, who was just four years old when she made her first pie crust under the watchful eyes of her Scottish mother and grandmother. Sweet Lemon Kitchen has earned Georgetown’s Best Gold Award for Best Lunch Spot, along with numerous other awards, for six years running, and that tradition of excellence continues at both our locations.
When the opportunity arose to open within Georgetown’s library, we knew we had found the perfect complement to our original Sweet Lemon Kitchen. Little Lemon Cafe brings the same commitment to quality and care that has made us a local favorite, now in a space where literature and lattes intersect beautifully.
Our cozy library location focuses on exceptional coffee, espresso drinks, fresh pastries, and light fare perfect for studying, reading, or catching up with friends. The atmosphere complements the library’s welcoming environment, creating a unique space where book lovers and coffee enthusiasts unite.

Our Promise
At both Sweet Lemon Kitchen and Little Lemon Cafe, we believe that every meal should be exceptional, every cup should be memorable, and every visit should leave you feeling more connected to your community. We’re not just serving food and drinks – we’re serving moments of joy, fuel for inspiration, and a warm welcome to all who walk through our doors.
From Rachel’s first pie crust to today’s award-winning menus, our commitment remains the same: to bring you a taste of the sweet life, made from scratch with love, in the heart of Georgetown.
